Early on into Almost’s life story, we got a surprise invitation from the Mikser Festival of Balkan Design in Belgrade to take part in the Ghost Project international competition for young designers.

The Ghost Project competition took off in 2006 and has by now established itself as the largest regional promoter of design talent from around the world. The 2013 edition featured over 200 works of young designers from 13 countries and a jury lineup including Konstantin Grcic, Volker Albus, Nikola Radeljkovic, Jelena Matic and Maja Lalic. Almost made it into the representative exhibition in Belgrade’s Savamala city quarters and returned home with a design award. This was a great token of encouragement for us and we are hugely honored and grateful to the organizers and the jury.
